50.  Apologize Less

This was one of the resolutions that I knew would take me the whole year to really work on.  I still apologize for stupid things, especially when I'm really self-conscious or worried that I've hurt someone's feelings.  However, it took a whole list of things for me to do to get better at apologizing less:

- Surround myself by people who have my best interests at heart
I have found that when I am in unhealthy friendships or relationships, that's when I am apologizing the most, because I am worried about every little conversation and interaction.
- Be more confident in my decisions at work and in my personal life.  This doesn't mean being more selfish or not hearing the other side, but it does mean that when I have made a decision, I need to be confident in my skills and abilities that have led me to that decision.
-Keeping myself in check - This basically meant every time I apologized for something silly, reminding myself out loud not to do that.  It also meant asking people around me to hold me accountable to this.

This one will be a work in progress for awhile, but I am on my way!
